In almost every industry today, content marketing is replacing traditional forms of marketing/advertising as the most effective way to generate leads, drive engagement, and build a trustworthy brand presence. Led by P. Agnes Marketing Manager Josh Martin, CPSM and Contently Product Manager Kristen Poli, this program will feature a presentation about how to utilize content marketing in the A/E/C industry and beyond.  The program will conclude with a content marketing workshop, which will allow attendee to put what they learned to use and receive feedback in real time.

Objectives and Outcomes:

  • Learn what content marketing is and how it differs from traditional marketing/advertising
  • Understand how content marketing can be used in business development/B2B transactions
  • Learn how to develop a winning content strategy
  • Learn how to think of/create quality, sharable content

Who can benefit from attending:

Marketers at every stage in their career can benefit from the content in this program. Technical staff and principal/executive level employees could also benefit greatly from this program as the professionals who will often be called upon to help produce insightful, value-adding content.

About the Speakers: 

Josh Martin, CPSM
Marketing Manager, P. Agnes, Inc.

As Marketing Manager at P. Agnes, Inc., Josh Martin is responsible for developing and executing content strategies through social media, email marketing campaigns, proposals, and promotional activities. He is also the Director of Content Strategy for Meraki Design Inc., which publishes regular content on Interior and Graphic design. Josh also serves on the board of SMPS Philadelphia as the Director of Public Relations.

Kristen Poli
Product Manager, Contently

Kristen Poli is a Product Manager at Contently, a technology company that helps brands create content at scale. Prior to joining the tech side of the business, she led the Content Strategy Services division, helping 100+ organizations build cutting-edge content programs. An industry educator and speaker, her work on media and martech has been featured at events like Social Media Week and within coursework at The University of Washington and NYU. On nights and weekends, she works as a volunteer crisis counselor within the Mt. Sinai Health System.
