SMPS CT Launches Education Series

Do you have great design vision, but don’t know how to execute it? Is your firm’s messaging getting lost in translation? Would you like to use PowerPoint to create more than presentations? If you answered, “yes,” to any of these questions, then the newly formed SMPS Connecticut Education Committee (formerly the CPSM Committee) has the education series for you! Programs are free to SMPS members and students.

This new initiative responds to the Committee’s mission to provide outreach, experience, and education for all career levels – from high school and college students just entering the industry to experienced professionals. The committee also facilitates the tools needed for CPSM exam success and provides opportunities to earn Continuing Education Units (CEUs) by offering a series of highly focused technical trainings and programs, covering all aspects of A/E/C marketing best practices.

Take your marketing skills to the 10th power by attending our first program—Adobe InDesign for A/E/C Marketing where you’ll learn how to improve workflow by implementing some amazingly simple and easy tips and tricks. Registration is open for the virtual program, which takes place on January 27, 2021 from 1:00-2:00 PM EST.

The Society for Marketing Professional Services (SMPS) was created in 1973 by a small group of professional services firm leaders who recognized the need to sharpen skills, pool resources, and work together to create business opportunities. Today, SMPS, nationally, represents a dynamic network of 7,000+ marketing and business development professionals from architectural, engineering, planning, interior design, construction, and specialty consulting firms located throughout the United States and Canada. The Society and its 60 chapters benefit from the support of 3,250 design and building firms, encompassing 80% of the Engineering News-Record Top 500 Design Firms and Top 400 Contractors.
